The essay announcement of the second Longping international forum
為貫徹黨的十八屆三中全會精神，落實習近平總書記在湘視察時“湖南要發(fā)揮袁隆平等科技領(lǐng)軍人才的優(yōu)勢，推進農(nóng)業(yè)科技創(chuàng)新，推進農(nóng)業(yè)標準化生產(chǎn)，增強農(nóng)業(yè)綜合生產(chǎn)能力和整體素質(zhì)”的指示，深入探討生物育種戰(zhàn)略性新興產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展、農(nóng)業(yè)轉(zhuǎn)型發(fā)展與國家糧食安全的理論和實踐問題，由長沙市人民政府、湖南省社會科學院、國家雜交水稻工程技術(shù)中心等聯(lián)合主辦的第二屆“隆平國際論壇”即將開啟，現(xiàn)將論壇及征文活動的有關(guān)事項公告如下：
The second Longping international forum sponsored by changsha municipal people's government, the hunan academy of social sciences and china national hybrid rice R&D center will begin. The forum aims to carry out the spirit of the third plenary session of the Chinese communist party’s eighteenth central committee, implement instructions from Xi jinping, General Secretary of CCCP during General Secretary’s inspection tour in hunan province that hunan province should develop the advantage of technological leading talents such as Yuan longping, promote innovation of agricultural science and technology, advance agricultural standardized production and raise the overall production capacity and quality of agriculture. The matters related to the forum and the activity of soliciting articles are as follows：
一、指導思想
以黨的十八屆三中全會精神為指針，以習近平總書記在湘視察時的重要講話為指導，力爭把“隆平國際論壇”打造成為農(nóng)業(yè)現(xiàn)代化、糧食安全、種業(yè)發(fā)展的學術(shù)理論交流平臺與資訊發(fā)布平臺，為中國的糧食安全與世界和平貢獻智慧和力量。
Ⅰ Guiding Thought
With the guidance of the spirit of the third plenary session of the Chinese communist party’s eighteenth central committee and the important speech delivered by Xi jinping, General Secretary of CCCP during General Secretary’s inspection tour in hunan province, we strive to make Longping international forum an academic exchange and information service platform about agricultural modernization, Food security and seed industry development in order to dedicate us wisdom and strength for china food security and world peace.
二、論壇主題
農(nóng)業(yè)科技創(chuàng)新、國家糧食安全與世界和平
三、舉辦時間
論壇定于2014年10月25日左右在湖南省長沙市舉行，具體時間及地點以會前通知為準。
Ⅲ Hosting Time
The forum is scheduled to start in changsha city, hunan province on or around october 25, 2014. Please refer to the notification before the meeting for the actual time and place of the forum.
四、論壇規(guī)模
論壇的參加人員規(guī)模為100人左右，由黨政領(lǐng)導、專家學者、優(yōu)秀論文作者、特邀代表組成。
Ⅳ Forum Scale
The scale of the forum is about 100 staff, and participants are mainly made up of party leaders, experts and scholars, outstanding authors and specially invited representative.

長沙市人民政府、湖南省社會科學院、國家雜交水稻工程技術(shù)中心等。
六、征文要求
圍繞論壇主題，結(jié)合各地實際撰寫論文（調(diào)研報告）。所提交的論文（調(diào)研報告）須為未公開發(fā)表作品，字數(shù)不超過5000字，word格式編輯。文稿務(wù)必注明作者姓名、單位、詳細通訊地址、聯(lián)系電話及E-Mail地址，用電子郵件方式發(fā)至hxsn@163.com，投稿截止日為2014年10月10日（詳情請關(guān)注“中國鄉(xiāng)村發(fā)現(xiàn)網(wǎng)”）。
Ⅵ Essay requirements
The author should keep to the theme of the Forum, and write thesis or investigation report according to the practical condition. The thesis or investigation report submitted to the forum should be not publicly released, no more than 5000 characters in length, and edited in word format. Please note the name, unit, the detailed communication address, contact telephone and e-mail address via email sent to hxsn@163.com. Deadline for submissions is October 10, 2014(please care “http://www.zgxcfx.com/” in detail).
七、征文獎項
征文結(jié)束后，論壇組委會將組織專家評選出優(yōu)秀論文若干篇，分設(shè)特別獎、一等獎、二等獎、三等獎，對獲選優(yōu)秀論文結(jié)集出版，并邀請部分獲選優(yōu)秀論文作者在論壇上作主題發(fā)言。
Ⅶ Essay award
Organizing committee will held a meeting of experts to select some excellent paper, and there will be four prizes including special award, first prize, second prize and third prize to be chosen in the end. Excellent paper will be published afterward, and organizing committee will invite some authors of excellent paper make a keynote speech.
